2017 Rankin County Cross Country Championships
Pearl and Northwest Rankin High Schools will be hosting the 2017 Rankin County Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, October 17. The meet will be held at Choctaw Trails with the first race beginning at 4:00 p.m. The meet will consist of the following four divisions:
High School Boys
High School Girls
Middle School (7th & 8th) Boys
Middle School (7th & 8th) Girls
Individual and team awards will be presented in each division with the top 14 in each division being named to the All Rankin County Team. Entry fees are $35.00 per team (boys & girls teams are considered separate) per division. Entries will be done on MileSplit.com. Bring entry fees with you to the meet, please do not mail! 4:00 High School Boys Race (5000 m)
4:30 High School Girls Race (5000 m)
5:10 Middle School Boys Race (3200 m)
5:30 Middle School Girls Race (3200 m)
6:00 Presentation of Awards
Competing runners should report to the starting line 10 minutes before the start of each race!
Entries: Entries are to be done online at MileSplit.com Entries open Friday, September 1 and
close on Friday, October 13. There are unlimited entries in all divisions, but only the
TOP SEVEN from each school will be used for scoring and are eligible for awards.

Entry Fee: $35.00 per team (boys & girls teams are separate) per division.
Make checks payable to: The Pearl Track Club
Split Times: Split times will be given at the mile and 2 mile marks.
Chute: Please instruct your athletes to keep moving through the chute unless stopped by an official.
Clean up: Please help keep the meet site clean by picking up all trash.
Awards: Individual Medals to the Top 3 Finishers in each Division
T-Shirts and Certificates to the Top 14 Finishers in each Division
T-Shirts to the Top 7 Members of the 1st Place Team in each Division
Team Trophies to the 1st & 2nd Place in each Division
